"After 11 years of futile attempts to remove weeds from the periwinkle on the slope in front of our house, we were pushed to the edge when the 2008 drought killed much of the ground cover and exposed the slope to severe erosion. Mr. Schmitt and his crew killed off the earlier ground cover, pre-treated the ground against future weeds and planted juniper which will provide a more effective and attractive ground cover. Many of our neighbors have praised the look of the embankment. Greg gave us a detailed estimate with full explanation; the treatment and planting were on schedule and exactly on budget.
